I'm Brandyn
As a licensed, clinical, mental health professional I create a compassionate, calm, shame-free space for all my families and clients to grieve, grow, change, cope, explore, and transform. My practice is open to all individuals and all forms of family structures - there is sacred space for everyone.
My clinical, therapeutic approaches are grounded in evidence-informed modalities and strategies to help each person authentically find the space they need to be themselves.
I use elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Experience, Emotion Focused Therapy, Gottman methods, Self-Compassion work, and other modalities to support individuals, parents and families from an attachment lens.
My Story
My early career began working with children from the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit in the Therapy Pool, at Seattle Children’s Hospital. I later transitioned to working in rural community mental health and residential treatment facilities in North Idaho. Additionally, I have worked as a CPS provider, co-facilitated Juvenile Sex Offender Treatment Programs, and developed Aquatic Therapy programs for children with PTSD and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

My therapeutic focus with kids and teens is strength-based and attachment-based. This allows me to gently guide individuals and families towards success, from a foundation of their best selves and their needs through an attachment lens. My areas of clinical focus are individual counseling with children and adolescents, family counseling, parent coaching, and the unique work with parents who are learning strategies around how to co-parent after divorce.
I also support many athletes (children, teens, and professional adults) in working through performance anxiety and how to build skills for focus, improving technique, coping with injury, and finding a grounded space to race, perform or train from.
I am also the Co-Founder of Parent Team and a trained mediator and accredited as a Mental Health Neutral professional in the Collaborative Divorce Process. I strive to bring dignity and sincere, compassionate support for couples going through the dissolution process. I support parents going through divorce by consulting and guiding them on parenting plans and coach co-parents in how to best support and navigate parenting from two homes. I work closely with attorneys in a team approach with other mental health professionals to navigate and coach in high-conflict co-parenting relationships. I am on the Board of Directors for the Montana Collaborative Professionals.

Fun Stuff
My husband, children, and I live tucked in the mountains of Bozeman, Montana with our border collie and three-legged orange cat. I leave space in my life to be outdoors as much as possible. Fresh air, movement, time with loved ones, amazing food, and naps are what fuel my own mental health. I co-founded Parent Team - a resource for parents navigating divorce and restructuring with my buddy Jen -as I believe in doing life with those you love and building great things with the people you care about.
And, a long time ago...I was an NCAA collegiate swimmer and former professional athlete in 2 sports - which I got to race throughout the world. I don't race anymore but I love supporting athletes and I still get to do some amazing adventuring.
